Procedures for covid-19 safety

We like to be transparent in all that we do. For your peace of mind and safety, let me share what goes on behind the scenes to keep you safe.  

  • Masks are optional. I will wear a mask, simply because I see so many people in a day. It is truly based on your comfort level, regarding your personal masking.

  • I do ask that if a family member is sick, please consider wearing a mask.

  • If you wake up feeling ill the day of your appointment, please call us to reschedule or switch to a Telehealth appointment. In Telehealth, I can do a quick herbal consult to prep an herbal formula to help your illness move along faster. East Asian herbal medicine has a robust approach to treating respiratory & gastrointestinal bugs…ie-the dreaded stomach flu!  Late cancellation fees will not be charged for folks who cancel due to illness. 

Thank you for helping us keep everyone in the office safe; us, our immunocompromised patients, folks going through chemo, the kiddos we treat, and, well, everyone.

Here’s What we do behind the scenes to keep you safe:

  • We use HEPA air filters with a UV light attachment to constantly filter air in the treatment rooms.  

  • We clean all surfaces that have been touched in the treatment rooms, and all door knobs in the office that have been touched after each patient visit with hypochlorous acid (approved by the CDC for COVID19 sanitization). 

  • We sanitize the bathroom after each patient use.

  • In the mornings, we do our regular cleaning of vacuuming, mopping, and dusting after the office has been sanitized the night before. At the end of each day, we sanitize all surfaces in the office, including the floor.
